January – Custom Pantry

I finally posted about our pantry in detail!

March – Gutters

It was rainy season and we need to add gutters.

Painting walls and trim through entire house

Swapping door handles

After painting every room in the house, we swapped out the nickel door knobs with this matte black option.

Swapping door hinges

We also switched out every hinge with these matte black ones.

New kitchen faucet

Zack didn’t have to hire anyone, but we swapped out our silver kitchen faucet with this sleep matte black faucet that has a magic waving feature.

Bathroom mirrors

I swapped both of the generic builder grade mirrors for these black framed mirrors.

Front Yard Brickwork

We hired a company to install some custom brickwork around the tree and the garden.

Lawn

We planted grass seed. It grew, but it didn’t make it through the winter.

Shrubs

We have issues with our dogs hugging the fence, so we planted some shrubs to help keep them off. They will grow taller in a few years and we will also have more privacy in our backyard.

Shed

We purchased a shed for all the lawn and garden tools. This allows us to have more space in our garage for our home gym.

Added decking in the attic

Since we don’t have a lot of storage throughout the house, we wanted to be able to have some long-term storage in our attic. We added plywood decking to give us this option.
