Round Wood Dining Table
We picked up a dining room round wood table from Angels’ Attic, a second-hand store in Grapevine, on Friday.
It came complete with four chairs and a leaf to extend for $200.
Originally, I wanted Zack to craft a dining room table and bench from a DIY I found, but it’s difficult to have friends and family over without a place to sit. And our kitchen island doesn’t fit more than 2 barstools.
We just happened to be headed to the pet store to pick up dog food and I saw the “upscale resale” sign as we were pulling into the parking lot. I was curious if they had furniture so I asked if we could look since the store was right there. Happy accidents, am I right?
It was a little stinky after we got home, so we let it air out in the garage. I washed it twice with soap and water. Zack vacuumed out the bottom to clear some cob webs. Then I cleaned it with pledge. Now it smells a lot less and could use some more TLC, but look at the details on the chair!
