Welcome to our small entryway!

I finally got around to purchasing a camera so I could take better quality photos. I decided to clean up our entryway to get some nice photos of how I styled everything.

The rattan sideboard looks nice, but the quality is a little lower than I expected. It definitely has more storage than our last table (you can see the previous side table in the before photo), but the sideboards are very light. I’m also nervous that Hank could break through the rattan.

I had the lanterns for many years, but they sat on top of the table with real candles inside. I wanted to hang them on the wall to save space on the sideboard so I had to find hooks that came out far enough off the wall. These plant hooks look great and have a cute little curl at the end. I also got rid of the candles and found these battery-operated candles that are a fraction of the weight. They came with a remote and you can set them on a timer.

The large bowl is from Ranch Junkie. This was my first purchase with them and I am pleased. They sell farmhouse, western, southern-type home decor and goods.

I painted the art behind me in the selfie, haha. The wall-mounted coat rack is a space saver. I tried a standing coat rack from Amazon, but I didn’t like it (and I had to put it in the dining room). It is my first purchase from Room and Board and I like it.

The vertical shoe rack is slick from Yamazaki. The oval umbrella stand is from the same brand. They fit perfectly behind the door and don’t get in the way. I also have a bread box in my pantry from them.

The roman blinds were a random purchase on Amazon. I wanted a light color to kinda match the rattan on the sideboards. They are a really good quality and were made to my width specifications – so they were semi-custom. I had a difficult time search for “door mounted” blinds, because everything in the results were under-mounted.

I added one black hook on the side to hang the dog leash (so it wasn’t cluttering up the top of the sideboard). These are the same hooks that I used in our bathroom designs.

The rug is part of the Aura collection from Feizy. We purchased them at NFM and have a thick rug pad from luxe underneath. I also have a twill standing mat that we use to wipe our shoes on when we walk in. It’s washable.

And, just because you can see the reflection in the mirror of this panting, here’s the full thing! It’s located in the dining room, but wanted to share the full view. And my bag is the Coach tabby shoulder bag.
